About us
DEUTA-WERKE has been a synonym for innovative and reliable railway technology for 120 years. We design and produce our products "in-house". Our production features a very high level of vertical integration – from design through software and hardware development up to the assembly of boards and circuit boards for. All departments are located at our headquarters in Bergisch Gladbach in Germany. DEUTA-WERKE is a family owned company with nearly 300 employees, which allows us to be flexible in our work.
Our focus is on speed sensors, event data recorders, multifunctional terminals and indicators. From development to production, we master the entire process chain and offer durable solutions. Our technologies meet safety requirements up to SIL3 and ensure efficient and safe rail traffic worldwide.

DEUTA DMI Multifunctional Terminals

DEUTA REDBOX® Multifunctional Recorders
DEUTA REDBOX® Multifunctional Recorders are suitable for every vehicle environment. The sophisticated REDBOX concept provides travel data recording and innovative possibilities for service and evaluation. The compact dimensions of the extremely robust train data recorders are impressive and allow for easy worldwide data access through the web interface system. In this way, you always have recorder status, data storage and communication status under your control.
DEUTA Sensors
The quality, ruggedness, reliability and self-diagnostics of sensors have a significant impact on the accuracy and security of the overall system. The different signal types of the interfaces ensure secure data transfers. DEUTA's range of sensor products can be divided along three measuring principles – radar sensors, pick-up sensors and axle-mounted sensors.
DEUTA Indicators
Depending on the application, analogue indicators for railway vehicles are divided into eddy current and moving coil. But each type has three things in common – reliability, precision and high availability.
DEUTA indicating units can process a wide variety of inputs – whether current, voltage or pulse-width modulated signals. Any kind of physical parameters can be displayed, depending on the electronics integrated in the indicator.
