Brace® Cable Protection System
WISKA, the expert for cable glands, is adding cable protection to its range. The company from Northern Germany presents the Brace® cable protection system. Heart of the product line is the BraceFITTING, an innovative non-metallic fitting, developed and produced in-house at WISKA headquarter in Kaltenkirchen, North of Hamburg. Thanks to its 360° clasp mechanism, this product is safe to install and has a high integrated strain relief for reliable protection, e.g. against heavy vibration. Furthermore, the large sealing area means that no special cutting tool for the conduit is needed. At the same time the high IP protection class reliably ensures that no dust and water can enter.
Alongside the innovation of non-metallic fitting, WISKA offers an extensive cable protection range of non-metallic and metallic fittings and conduits.
SPRINT® Railway Serie
Cable gland series for the railway industry in accordance with EN 45545
Our SPRINT® system has been convincing for more than 30 years as an efficient and reliable system for the most versatile areas of application. Due to the large product variety, it is suitable for individual applications. Our railway series is an industry specific extension of the proven SPRINT® cable gland system, which meets the specific demands of the railway industry in all respects.
The RW from WISKA series is the ideal combination of high-value product quality and multiple modularity, while maintaining compliance with standards. The RW components have been successfully tested for fire resistance in accordance with EN 45545-3:2013-08. Furthermore, the entire series meets the highest requirements of Hazard Level 3 that can be applied to the materials used in the railway industry.
